Happy New Year Y’all from Telluride!!!! Another year has come and gone and I am so pumped to see what 2019 has to offer. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the year than snowboarding in Telluride, CO. This town has blown my mind since my very first visit back in 1999 for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Now that I reside in Scottsdale, AZ I come every year to ring in the New Year on the gorgeous slopes of the San Juan Mountains. I am very thankful for my client Marilyn Graves and her husband Dave for making this a yearly tradition. I must say, I do have the best clients on the planet. Today as I make turns in the powder (it’s dumping:), I will be reflecting on my life and will be grinning from ear to ear. I am going to enjoy this week of relaxation before I get home and back to the grind in the gym. I am a firm believer in working hard and playing hard!
As far as goals, I just submitted for American Ninja Warrior for my 4th and final season. This year it is going to happen:). I am going to book a fitness photo shoot and work on getting my 5th cover. My year is going to be busy, but I am rested and ready to work my butt off. I am also putting my goals out there to y’all so I am held accountable. I believe in putting my goals verbally out there to my peeps so I am forced to follow through.
What are your goals? The heck with having just one New Year’s Resolution, come up with your top three. Tell your family and friends about your 2019 goals and make them happen. Having a deadline will push you to make your goals a reality. Try envisioning your goals, stay positive, do the work and you will make them happen. Take it from a very goal oriented southern gal:)
