For those of you who have been following along know that I just recently lost a good friend and mentor to cancer, have a client currently fighting breast cancer and now have a good friend who is about to begin the battle of his life against cancer……..Cancer is a Bunch of Mullarkey!!!!! My friend Robert Weatherford is about to start his chemo treatment for a rare form of Neuroendocrine cancer, which is in stage 4.
Robert has been out of work since December and is still waiting for short term disability. In the meantime, his good friends Nicole Bishop and Joe Cronin organized a fund raiser car wash this past Sunday. It was a success and we raised approximately 3K with everyones hard work. They have also set up a Go Fund Me account to raise a few extra dollars. If you would like to donate to a good cause, please click the link below. Any amount helps and adds up. Robert is one of the nicest guys I know and is already blown away by everyone’s generosity. We all know cancer sucks and my prayers are going to Robert as he prepares to fight this battle.
