Turkey Burger Recipe

Turkey burgers are one of my favorites!  Try this quick and easy recipe…….

-1.5  pounds of lean ground turkey (not extra lean, it tastes like cardboard:)

-1/2 cup of diced onion

-1 diced red or green pepper

-2 tablespoons of pepper

-2 tablespoons of Mrs Dash garlic and herb seasoning

-1 egg white

Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl and make 4-5 oz patties.  Spray each patty and the grill grate with Olive Oil cooking spray.  Preheat the grill over medium heat.  Place the patties on the grill and cook 8-10 minutes, turning 2 or 3 times.  Cook until center is well done, reaching 165 degrees F.  Pair with your favorite grilled veggie or salad.  If you are having carbs with dinner, eat on 2 slices of whole wheat or Ezekiel bread.   Garnish with tomato, lettuce, avocado and mustard.  Enjoy!
