Turkey Taco Recipe

Happy New Year!!!!  The holidays are over and it’s time to get back to clean eating.  Try this yummy turkey taco recipe……

-1 package of Mrs Dash Salt Free Taco Seasoning

-1 lb. of lean ground turkey (don’t get the extra lean turkey, it tastes like cardboard)

-3/4 cup of water

-1 cup of diced red onion

-1 cup of diced tomatoes

-1 cup of shredded lettuce

-1 diced medium avocado

-1 cup of salsa

Brown the lean ground turkey in a skillet.  Once the meat is browned, add the packet of Mrs Dash Taco Seasoning and 3/4 cup of water.  Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and stir occasionally for 5 minutes.  If you are going low carb, mix all the above ingredients into a bowl!  If you would like a carb, spoon into a heated whole wheat tortilla.  Easy Peasy!
