I had the honor of doing a photo shoot 2 weeks ago for the 2018 Dillon Aero Calendar. I must say that it goes down as one of my favorite shoots of all time. Why you say? Because it was an action shoot on a bad ass off road vehicle with a Minigun attached to it. Need I say anymore???? No, I didn’t get to shoot the gun but is was sure fun pretending. http://www.dillonaero.com
It was definitely a first doing a photo shoot out in the desert on a moving vehicle. The photographer, Clayton Haugen, was an absolute pleasure to work with and I can’t wait to see the finished images. http://www.claytonhaugen.net
Hopefully, I will be selected as one of the models for the 2018 Dillon Aero calendar and hopefully this won’t be the last time I get the opportunity to shoot for them. I would also like to thank Chris Dillon, for giving me this opportunity. I actually met Chris at the gym I train at when I started small talk with him because we both drive Ford Raptors. It was in that conversation that he asked if I would like to shoot for their calendar. My answer…….”Does a bear sh#! in the woods?”. You never know who you are going to meet and what opportunity could arise from a simple conversation.
I would also like to thank our troops who risk their lives for our freedom. Our military is one of Dillon’s largest customers, which made this shoot so special. While I was speeding through the desert with the Minigun in hand, I could only imagine what would be going through my mind if I was a soldier and was in an actual battle. What a terrifying rush. Thank you to all the folks in our military for all that you sacrifice so we can safely live the American Dream.
