Blast Your Booty with this Track Workout

I don’t know about you, but I love taking my workouts outdoors!  I spend hours working in the gym as an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and owner of “No Mullarkey” Personal Training, so it’s nice to switch things up and hit a track workout.  Not only do I burn more calories but I also get a good dose of vitamin D from being out in the sun.  I also get a much needed break from being in my office…..the gym.  If you are looking to blast body fat all day from a high intensity workout rather than doing boring steady state cardio, this is the workout for you.

Blast Your Booty Track Workout

-1 mile warm-up around the track (4 laps)

-10 bleacher sprints (sprint to the top, walk back down and repeat)

-10 50 yard sprints (30 sec rest in between each sprint)

-1/2 mile cool down (2 laps)

-stretch for 10 minutes

If that doesn’t make you sweat I don’t know what will?  Pay attention to how your abs feel the next day.  If you are sprinting hard enough, they will be sore.  Make sure that you warm-up and ease into full speed so you don’t pull a hamstring and injure yourself.
