I currently have 6 “No Mullarkey” Team members prepping for the upcoming local NPC figure and bikini competition. We just began our 1st posing session this week and it never fails the look of doubt on the competitors eyes as they size up their fellow competition and as they awkwardly learn how to hold their poses. This is not by any means an easy journey and I give each of them so much credit for committing to getting on stage. Let’s face it, getting on stage in a tiny bikini in front of hundreds of spectators is not an easy task.
What I have noticed over the past 10 years of prepping clients for the stage is that they always seem to hit the 6 week meltdown. “I’m not going to be ready”, “I’m never going to lose this cellulite”, “I just don’t have what it takes”. My response, “You can do anything you put your mind too”! I know this is not easy and if it was, everyone would be walking around with amazing bodies. Competing requires commitment, determination, and above all, confidence in yourself. This is definitely one of those sports that you get out of it what you put into it. Don’t you want to know when you are standing on stage that you gave your prep your all and did your absolute very best? I am asking as a coach and also as a former IFBB/WBFF professional competitor to dig deep and to GIVE IT YOUR ALL! I can’t go home and meal prep for you and hit those cardio sessions with intensity, but I can share my knowledge of the road ahead of you and help you to accomplish your goal.
I give each of my girls lots of credit for coming this far and I can’t wait to see them shine on stage in March. I am asking as a coach to dig down deep these next 6 weeks and to be ALL IN!
