About Jeremy

Jeremy is an encourager, a coach and a hyper man who loves to make people laugh and believe in themselves, but he’s also been a certified personal trainer for over 20 years. He likes STAR WARS and MARVEL movies and he’s been Type 1 Diabetic since 1989, 35+ years.

Voted “MOST OUTGOING” in high school way back in 1994, Jeremy learned that his personality meant he was to be a “people person”. With that responsibility, he committed himself to be a voice of ENCOURAGEMENT in the lives of those around him.

Jeremy graduated from Rhema Bible College in 1997 with a specialty in Youth Ministry and Communications. He spent five years as the youth minister of one of the fastest growing youth ministries in Augusta, Georgia. He co-hosted three seasons of the award winning Christian Music Video TV show called, “RocHouse Cafe” and at the same time, he traveled speaking in churches across America.

In 2006, Jeremy entered the Fitness Model Industry by competing in Male Fitness Model categories. He won FIRST place in the 2007 FASNET Male Model Competition, SECOND Place in the 2007 and 2008 Model Universe Competition, SECOND Place in the 2007 FAME/SNBF Competition, THIRD place in the FITNES ATLANTIC Competition and was a TOP 15 FINALIST, out of hundreds of fitness models who auditioned across America, for the 2006 World’s Fittest Model Competition at the MR OLYMPIA event. Jeremy was also in multiple national fitness magazine publications, appeared on TV shows such as MTV’s Teen Wolf, Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva, NBC’s Identity, Oxygen’s Janice Dickinson Show and TV commercials such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, Avis Car Rental, Weather Channel and Georgia Lottery Keno, just to name a few.

Jeremy worked with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) as a spoke model for diabetes awareness and appeared on the 2009 Fall Issue of the NIH (National Institute of Health) MED-LINE PLUS publication sharing the cover with singers Nick Jonas, Patti LaBelle, NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, and the U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who are also Type 1 diabetic.

In 2012, Jeremy began speaking in the public school system, which included high schools, middle schools, colleges and universities with his BE AWARE BE THE CHANGE, “Diabesity” and “The Power of Young People” multi-media presentations. This led him into shifting his focus into commercial video production, branding identities and filmmaking. He has produced everything from TV commercials and promo videos to music videos. In a nutshell, Jeremy has been a youth minister, graphic designer, fitness coach, fitness model, actor, speaker and a video producer. That’s a lot, but he is hyper.

In 2016, at age 40, Jeremy began experiencing complications in his health. Throughout his life, he’s experienced everything from Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Type 1 Diabetes complications with insulin resistance, a diabetic coma, a cancerous squamous cell carcinoma, extreme hypertension, high blood pressure, hormone deficiency and even gained 50 pounds.

In 2019, he mistakenly took too much insulin one morning and went into a hypoglycemic coma for several hours, unable to be revived. However, he suddenly woke up, with a story to tell, remembering every detail of his near death experience. Soon thereafter, Jeremy committed to get his health under control or else face the consequences of neglecting it. He began exercising to recondition his body, lost 40 pounds, rebuilt his muscle mass, molding back into the physique he always enjoyed in his thirties, and has regained confidence in himself knowing he can do what he dedicates himself to. With this experience, he’s learned THE REAL STRUGGLES people have BEING OVERWEIGHT, the “speed bumps” of trying to lower body fat but also HOW TO ACHIEVE REAL RESULTS IN FITNESS.

Jeremy is now back in the fitness industry helping middle-aged adults FIND THEMSELVES and THEIR WAY TO GAINING CONFIDENCE AND PURPOSE IN THEIR LIVES. He believes our physiology affects our psychology and our psychology affects our physiology. If we move the body, it will awaken the mind. If we train the mind, it will awaken the body.
